WORMGEAR WINCHES "PW"
The design of "PROLIFT" wormgear winches is based on two important factors: sturdiness and economy. The use of high quality components and robust construction ensures a long life. Wormgear winches are best suited for intermittent use. Where high duty factors are encountered, planetary winches are preferable. Standard wormgear winches are selfbraking, for general hoisting purposes however a brakemotor is recommended.
It is useful to consider a running in period of approx 24hrs by limiting the load to 70% of the maximum line-pull mentioned in this website.
